Install Kaspersky Anti Virus

Please make sure you have removed your previous security software (including prior versions of Kaspersky) in the Control Panel before installing the new version.

Note: if removing a previous version of kaspersky you MUST save your current Activation settings. Otherwise you will lose the time remaining on your current installation. We cannot be held responsible if you ignore the question during un-installation to SAVE your current Activation settings!please read How to Un-Install the Software

Step 1 – Save the installation File:

If you are installing using the CD, please skip to Step 2.
If you have dont have the CD, continue Step 1 to download your software.

After you have clicked the link highlighted in blue text below, a dialog box should appear, click Save

Click this link and choose SAVE:

Step 2
After that, another box will appear asking you where to save the file, first click “My Documents” on the left hand side (Documents for Vista), then click “Save”:

The Download should progress along, when it is complete, click “Run”, as seen below:
NOTE- If you do not see the below screen you will need to locate where you saved the application and double click on it to “Run”

After you have clicked Run, another Security Warning will appear, click “Run” on that one too.

Step 4
Next, the installation will start, click “Next” to continue:

On the next screen, just click ” I Agree”:

Step 6
Ensure the tick appears accepting the terms and Click “Install”:

Step 7
Wait while the program installs, as seen below:

Step 8
Make sure that Run Kaspersky Anti-Virus Security 2012 is checked and click the Finish button in order to complete the installation process.

Step 9
In the Activation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 window select Activate commercial version.
In the Enter activation code field enter an activation code you obtained when purchasing the license.
Click the Next button, to continue with the installation process

Step 10

Enter your email address and press Next

Then click on Finish

Congratulations on installing and activating Kaspersky!!

Note:
If you receive an error message check carefully the code you entered is correct.

Then check that you are running the correct program for the code type you have purchased. A Kaspersky Pure code will not work with Kaspersky Internet Security or Kaspersky Anti Virus and vice versa.
